The fourth-grade students were privileged to listen to Mr. George Oplt share his experiences from his time in the Marine Corps. We sincerely appreciate his generousness in sharing his stories, and we are grateful for his years of service and for helping to teach our students about the importance of our military branches.

Good Luck to Ethan Bratvett as he travels back to Olivet Nazarene University to represent MGS in the ILMEA District 3 Concert Band Saturday!

MGS students and staff showed their support for our troops on Veterans Day with a whole school assembly inviting local veterans and families to share in this special day! The choir did an outstanding job singing the National Anthem, K-4 students sounded great singing and the band sounded amazing! It was a great day at MGS and thank you to all the veterans past, present, and future who allow us to live the lives we do!
