Ahoy, Matey! The 4th Graders enjoyed their Accelerated Reader Pirate Adventure on Friday, May 3rd. They learned their pirate names, told some haaarrr-ible pirate jokes, and completed their pirate training. We even celebrated the top reader in each 4th grade classroom: 4A- Amelia M, 4B- Hawkins M, 4C- Ciara M, 4D- Monroe H. A BIG thank you to all the volunteers who made this day such a success!


There is a FREE Prairie Winds Concert at MTHS on Friday, 5/10 at 7:30pm. The Prairie Wind Ensemble is a 70-member adult symphonic band with membership drawn from Central Illinois and the greater Peoria area. The concert will feature guest conductor and composer Robert Sheldon.


MGS Basketball Camp is Wed May 29th-May 31st. Girls and Boys K-7th grade are welcome! Make sure to sign up by this Friday May 10th to get a t-shirt. See the Flyer for more details!

The Instrumental Spring concert is being moved indoors due to the weather. The times will remain the same. Food trucks will be parked in front of the school - you will be able to purchase treats & bring into the gym! The bleachers will be out so you will not need to bring chairs.
