Can you believe we have completed 1/3 of the school year? Yes, you read that correctly! If you have not done so already, please make sure you get on Skyward to check your student's grades!

While you are on Skyward, you can sign up for Parent/Teacher conferences on November 24 & 25. We want to see as many of you as possible!

Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Myers 4th Grade ELA classes enjoyed reading different biographies during October. The students shared the information they learned through an oral presentation to their class. The students always love dressing up and sharing what they have learned from their books.

1D students had a great day celebrating the 50th day of school! They worked in groups to put words in abc order and then worked on their doubles facts. They wrote a how to book about making a root beer float and then they got to follow those steps and actually make one!

Dear MGS Families,

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Veteran’s Day, we will host a special assembly at 9:00 a.m. to honor and recognize all veterans. This event provides students with an opportunity to learn about and demonstrate respect for both current and former members of the military. The assembly will feature a speech by a local veteran and musical performances by students, celebrating military service both past and present.

As part of the program, we will acknowledge the veterans within our MGS community, including families and staff members. We encourage you to invite any veteran or active-duty service member who is a relative, parent, sibling, or grandparent of an MGS student to attend this meaningful event. We appreciate your assistance in extending these invitations so we can express our gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

Guests are kindly asked to arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m., and MGS staff will be available to assist with entry and seating. Following the assembly, all veterans and their guests are welcome to join us in the gym for a time of fellowship with students and fellow service members.

Thank you,

MGS Staff and Students

Special Persons' Week was a huge success at MGS and we are grateful for all our guests that were able to attend to make this a memorable event for our students and families. This event could not be possible without Kari Dalpiaz, Stephanie Aeschliman, Amanda Karcher, our cafeteria workers, and our maintenance crew.

Parents: during after school pick up on Madison St, please only use the south (sidewalk) side of the road. We do not want students crossing the road while there are so many cars passing. Thank you!
