The softball team presented their favorite bus driver Debbie with a State medal. Lots of tears were in the room. Debbie told the girls "I told you I would take you to state! You need to listen to me!" It was obvious how much Debbie appreciated the medal and the girls.

50 days of first grade! 😎 We celebrated with some 50’s themed decor and glasses for the kids to wear. The favorite activity for the day was that the students wrote how to make a root beer float and then got to follow the steps and make root beer floats!

In 8th grade Science, students completed a project about a planet in the solar system. Students were able to choose within their group from a project menu board. Some of the choices included: make a model, create trading cards, perform a rap song, write a children's book, create a travel brochure, build a habitable structure or produce a movie trailer. Here are a few of the final projects! Check Out this rap about Venus: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FrzPN82BT5m6_a6VmgUCKh7KlX3dgpv7/view?usp=sharing Check out this movie trailer about Mars: https://biteable.com/watch/3769672/9802235848b1f747d925f924a6c9919e Check out this book about Captain Mercury: https://www.canva.com/design/DAFPrsEIo5I/NTyxkw9ey-F1SY8lOCM6ww/edit?utm_content=DAFPrsEIo5I&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Can we create something new through chemical reactions? 5B & 5D students mixed various substances together to see which combinations made new things. Science is messy and fun!

8th graders during Latin Wednesday worked with Mis/Mit (to send) by transmitting their definitions and words across the room. Omit happened to be omitted which required an intermission from the activity to retrieve the omitted word.
