1B has been learning about veterans and got to have a veteran visit us in our classroom today. It was a surprise to them who it would be, so all day they were trying to guess. They were so excited to see Mrs. Griffith another teacher in our school come in. She taught them all about what it was like when she was a marine. Thank you Mrs. Griffith for your service and for sharing with us today! Thank you to all veterans!

5A and 5B students have been learning how to use the steps of the Engineering Design Process. Today they used those steps to create a catapult that will launch a candy pumpkin the farthest. Our longest launch was about 800 centimeters. Pretty impressive!
