MGS PTO would like to remind you that K Kickoff is tomorrow evening on the MGS playground. Incoming K students and families are invited to join us from 5:30PM- 7:00PM for a scavenger hunt, coloring station, and of course free play on the playground!
This is a great opportunity for students to get familiar with the playground and meet some classmates with the hopes of reducing some nerves before the start of the school year.
Please note: no K teachers will be present.

Back to School Night is right around the corner on Monday August 12th! Bring your supplies and meet your teachers during the designated time listed on the flyer. There will be food trucks out on the black top from 4:30-7:30! Grab a bite to eat while you are here! Also, on the black top you will find office staff, the school nurse, bus drivers, PTO, Foundation, the Metamora Library, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. They will all be there to answer any questions you may have! We can't wait to see you on the 12th!
If you ordered a School Tool Box they will be in your child's homeroom class.

MTHS Redbird Community Kickoff is August 23rd. Come out to Malone Field and cheer on the athletes in Fall Sports! There will be a silent auction, food trucks, and more! See the flyer for all the info!
Due to the weather, Baseball open field has been cancelled this morning. Reminder that tryouts are on Monday, August 5th from 8-10am (2-3:30pm if unable to make morning session). Athletes MUST have a current physical on file & all registration completed.

Class lists for K-4 will be posted tomorrow morning after 8:00am. They will be posted on the Red Doors. 5th-8th grade will be able to see their homeroom teachers in skyward.

Softball tryouts has been moved back to MGS! The field conditions improved so tryouts will be from 5-7pm tonight at the softball field. Good luck to everyone trying out!
