Olympic Curling came to room 62 today! For science, 5B and 5D engineers learned about the science of curling, from pebbled ice, to creating a water layer by sweeping, to the amount of a rock's surface coming in contact with the ice. Then using only limited resources (constraints), they created a model of a stone that they could use to enter our Olympic competition. The winners were Green Bananas (5D) and Starbucks Lovers (5B). Awards ceremony is on Tuesday! 🏅

Due to a bus driver shortage bus 10 is going to be running late. Students that ride bus 10 will stay at the grade school until approximately 3:50 when a bus will get back to the school to run that route. Please email secretaries@mgsredbirds.org or call the office at 309-367-2361 if you would like to change your students transportation home.
