Laura Anglin was recognized at an IESA banquet in Bloomington by receiving the Speech Distinguished Service Award. Laura has coached speech at MGS for 20 years. Officer Stone stopped by 5B today and joined us in a discussion on the difference between Patriots, Loyalists, and Neutral. Then he tried his hand at the assignment. He aced it!
MGS hosted Regionals for Scholastic Bowl this evening. It was a great night and our students competed well! Thank you to Mrs. Becker and Miss Kraus for all their efforts this season!

Just a reminder.....This year's Instrumental Spring Concert is Thursday, April 30th on the playground black top behind the school. Groups perform every 15 minutes starting at 6pm. Bring your lawn chairs/blankets (seating will not be provided) and have a picnic!!!

Reminder through May 1st MGS will be collecting aluminum pop tabs! You can help us make a difference by collecting pop tabs. Tell family, friends, co-workers and everyone else that you are collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Turn-in the pop tabs in zip-lock bags to your homeroom teacher. Each MGS classroom will have their own 5 gallon bucket for collections! Let’s see how fast we can fill the classroom’s bucket up! All area schools are competing for bragging rights on which school collects the most for the Ronald McDonald House! Schools include: MGS, GHMS, MTHS, and St. Mary's.
