Tuesday, March 18th 5-7pm dine-in or carry-out at Hanover's Pub on the Square and they will donate 10% of the food sales back to MGS PTO. Money raised supports programs such as staff appreciation, FUN Day, & Family Fun Night.

Some 6th grade students played cards with the residents at Snyder Village today as part of 6th Grade's monthly community service project.

One, Two, Three, Four....we declare a COIN WAR!
Last week, 5th graders raided piggy banks, checked under couch cushions, and asked mom and dad for money all to fund our service project. This year's fifth grade class voted to raise money to create "Birthday Boxes" for the food pantry, which are kits that include birthday goodies for families that maybe can't afford them. But we never imagined that our 4 classes would raise the amount of money that they did. They raised over $2,000!!! And because they were so very generous in their donations, we may get to fund another of our service project ideas as well.

t's not too late to get involved this year but also thinking about involvement for next school year. ‼The current executive board positions will ALL be vacated next school year‼
It is important to note:
-Attending a meeting does NOT commit you to anything
-YOU decide your commitment level
-Committee members/chairs are not required to attend every monthly meeting
We'd love to answer any questions or concerns about joining PTO or any of the vacated board seats.

Good Morning! Today for Black History Month, we celebrate Elijah McCoy, an inventor known for his work improving the railroad industry. His invention, the lubricating cup, allowed engines to run smoother and more efficiently, making transportation faster and safer. His contributions were so important that people began asking for the 'real McCoy' to refer to his inventions.
What a great night at MGS! 4th grade recorders and 5th grade band put on an outstanding performance for family and friends! Thank you to all the students and Ms. Trotter for all their hard work!
