MGS is excited to announce our first ever Unified Volleyball Game vs Washington Central. The game will be held on Feb. 1st & it will be played between the 7th & 8th grade game (approximately 5:00PM).
For the safety of our students and families, all athletic events, including games and practices at MGS for tonight Tuesday January 9th are cancelled.

This is the first year for our Unified Redbirds. The goal of Unified Redbirds is to promote inclusion within our building. To help show your support we have opened a spiritwear store. Inclusion week is January 29th-Feb 1st. Grab some new MGS gear to celebrate all students being included.

Tonight's 6th grade boys basketball game vs Dunlap Middle has been cancelled for tonight. There will be no 6th grade practice.
Tonight's Volleyball game at Limestone Walters has been cancelled due to the weather. There will be NO practice for volleyball.
MGS is open today-Jan 9. Please allow extra time for buses as they travel safely. Please also take extra caution on sidewalks and parking lot. Thank you!

If your child has a change in transportation plans please call the office at (309)367-2361 before 1:30. The afternoon gets busy in the office and when getting this information late it makes it difficult to notify the student and teacher of the change. This could result in your child going home in the incorrect way. Thank you for your help with this matter.

If you ordered spirit wear from the MGS Sports Boosters, good news the orders are in!! You can stop in the office anytime from 10AM-2PM Monday & Tuesday.
