Kindergarten students spent time at the end of November learning how they can help others in our community via a service project. They spent a week collecting over 200 food donations that were delivered to the Open Arms Food Pantry in Metamora on December 5th.




Students in KD took some time last week to make comparisons with Rudolph's nose. Kindergarten students are showing off their best writing and artistic skills in this display outside their classroom.





It was a very busy and fun chorus weekend at Christian Union Church. The 5-8th graders sang carols at their Live Nativity on Saturday and some of the 5th and 6th graders sang at their service on Sunday.




On Saturday, November 26th MGS chorus students sang and rang the Salvation Army bell at Kirby Foods.





1D Scientists wrapped up our owl unit by exploring owl pellets to sort the bones and discover what their owl ate. “This is kinda gross, but really fun!”-First grade scientist



The 5/6th grade chorus students sang their concert songs and carols at The Loft in Eureka.

Today 5C created 3 beat patterns with rhythm sticks, in music class, to accompany a song from New Zealand called Makoair.





3C students wanted to say, "Thank you, veterans!"


The cross country team celebrated a great season Friday night at their team banquet. Coach Dirks and Coach Vieck are very proud of this team’s effort this year! We will miss all the 8th graders moving on to the high school next year!

The Caterpillar Visitors Center is hosting a holiday lighting & book signing with the author of Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site on November 9th. More information for this free event can be found on the flyer.


Over the weekend our cheerleaders attended a stunt clinic with Titanium Force Cheer where they choreographed their pyramid and worked on individual stunts!
