On Friday, February 6, 7th grade students in Mrs. Porch's US History class heard firsthand the experiences of a US Congressman. Representative Darin LaHood (IL's 16th District) toured Metamora Grade School and spoke to the junior high students about the legislative process. Students asked Congressman LaHood several questions and even got to pass around his voting card used when casting votes!
